Life Beyond 28 is aimed at supporting hospitals in their efforts to ensure the survival of preterm babies, especially in the first 28 days (neonatal period), through provision of specialized low resource friendly equipment and training of staff in the use and maintenance of that equipment.
Our main focus is distributing CPAP machines which are used to manage Respiratory Distress, Firefly machines for management of Jaundice and incubators
To date we have donated:
- 6 Continuous Positive Airway Pressure(CPAP) machines
- 4 Firefly machines
- 1 warmer
- 20 heaters
We still need:
- 42 CPAP machines
- 36 Firefly Machines
